PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS & SUPPLIES:

Pressed Flowers Bookmark

Steps:

1. On a piece of Sand Speck Cardstock, stamp all three Pressed Flower stamps as follows:
  • Stamp Daisy in Warm Red Chalk Ink. Use Bisque on flower center
  • Stamp Leaf in Warm Green. Use Brown Marker to accent veins of leaf.
  • Stamp Hydrangea Flower in Warm Violet. Use Bisque on flower center.

    2. Trim each stamped flower with deckle scissors as shown. Cut squares of Violet, Goldenrod and Olive Cardstock slightly larger than stamped squares. Cut squares of Ginger Cardstock slightly larger than the color squares.

    3. Layer the stamped deckle-edged squares on top of the color squares as follows:
  • Daisy on top of Goldenrod
  • Leaf on top of Olive
  • Hydrangea on top of Violet

    4. Layer each of the above squares on top of the larger Ginger squares.

    5. Punch holes into top and bottom centers of each layered square and thread Gold Raffia ribbon through the holes. Knot the Raffia at the top and bottom of your book mark and trim the ends.
